Yoga 4 Change Receives Grant To Fund Study On Trauma Informed Yoga

In early January 2018, Yoga 4 Change received a $50,000 grant from the Chartrand Family Foundation to fund an evaluation study to assess the impact of trauma informed yoga on incarcerated individuals. Dr. Danielle Rousseau, PhD, LMHC will serve as the primary faculty during the evaluation and will coordinate efforts between Yoga 4 Change teachers and a team at Boston University.

Breaking Down the Barriers We Unknowingly Build Around Ourselves - 5 Questions with Chelsea Belfer, Graduate of Yoga 4 Change's First Teacher Training Program

Chelsea Belfer first started volunteering with Yoga 4 Change when she was searching for a sense of direction.  Eventually, she was one of two people to enroll in the organization's inaugural teacher training program.  Chelsea completed her 200 hour training in December 2017 and is now teaching community classes through Yoga 4 Change.  Starting in late January, Yoga 4 Change will offer its next installment of Registered Yoga Teacher training.
