North Florida

Founded March 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. In 2022, we taught an average of 42 weekly classes, impacting 7,869 individuals in collaboration with 30 facility partners throughout Northeast Florida including the following counties: Duval, St.Johns, Clay, Nassau and Putnam.

South Florida

Yoga 4 Change was awarded a grant to study the affects of Y4C programming on the opioid crisis. In January 2019 programming started with a curriculum specific to those recovering from substance use in the South Florida area. In 2022, we taught an average of 20 weekly classes, impacting 5,425 individuals in collaboration with 23 facility partners throughout South Florida including the following counties: Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach.

Tampa Bay

We began teaching our substance use specific curriculum in the Tampa Bay area in May 2019. In 2022, data for Central Florida and Tampa Bay was combined. That data shows we taught an average of 25 weekly classes, impacting 6,231 individuals in collaboration with 8 facility partners. Tampa Bay counties include Hillsborough and Pinellas.

Central Florida

January 2020 marked the start of our substance use-specific curriculum in Central Florida/Orlando. In 2022, data for Central Florida and Tampa Bay was combined. That data shows we taught an average of 25 weekly classes, impacting 6,231 individuals in collaboration with 8 facility partners. Counties include Seminole and Orange.
