Michael Boylan

Michael Boylan is President and CEO of WJCT Public Broadcasting, a position he has held since May, 1999. Michael earned his Bachelors degree from John Carroll University and a MA degree in Communications from Kent State University. While his roots are in television production, he moved on to production management at WPBT Public Television in Miami and then ran its for-profit affiliate, Comtel, providing production services for the broadcast of more then 400 collegiate and professional sporting events each year.  Since coming to Jacksonville Michael has been active board member for a number of area non-profits. In addition to his current service as a member of the Yoga 4 Change board Michael also serves on the Board of Volunteers in Medicine, Jacksonville.
