Anne White

Anne White is the Chief Administrative Officer at Step Up For Students, a nonprofit whose mission is to empower parents to pursue and engage in the most appropriate learning options for their children, with an emphasis on families who lack the information and financial resources to access these options. By pursuing this mission, Step Up helps public education fulfill the promise of equal opportunity.

Anne provides leadership support to the human resources and organizational and professional development teams, focusing on organizational culture and employee development. In addition, Anne leads the purchasing, compliance and risk management functions. Prior to joining Step Up in 2010, Anne served as the Director of Global Operations and Client Services for Convergys Corporation, providing outsourced customer management and human resource services to Fortune 500 companies. Anne has spent more than 20 years in leadership positions in the education, hospitality and business process outsourcing industries.

Anne received a BA degree from American University. She has a passion for youth development, education and the arts. Anne is the proud mom to two college students, Eric and Emily.

Anne is a firm believer in the benefits and power of mindfulness and yoga and is honored to serve the mission of Yoga 4 Change.
