Bradel Canfield

Bradel Canfield has been a leader within the anti-human trafficking movement for over five years. She shares her expertise nationally as a consultant to organizations working with trauma and individuals impacted by human trafficking and the systems that employ those with lived experience to better serve the community.

As a registered 500-hour Yoga teacher, Bradel is also passionate about Yoga. She started her work in the anti-human trafficking movement by teaching Yoga to girls who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation and has been a strong advocate for their needs as a mentor and success coach. She then became an educator, speaking at national conferences and to law enforcement and service providers regarding best practices and the nuances of providing the best possible assistance for survivors of trauma and at-risk and exploited youth.

In 2021 Bradel co-authored research entitled Survivors of Commercial Sexual Exploitation: Experiences Working in Service Organizations in the Journal of Human Trafficking and she continues to be active and dedicated in her work advocating for the transitions toward being Survivor-Informed and Survivor-Led.

In her free time, Bradel enjoys traveling to new places, exploring nature, and being a dog mom to three.
