Kim Simon

Kim Simon is a North Florida native with a deep commitment to community growth and wellness. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Florida and an M.A. in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University.  Over the course of her career, she has worked with nonprofits addressing issues such as substance use and mental health, domestic violence, civil rights and liberties, and food and housing insecurity.
Kim discovered yoga while navigating personal loss and chronic pain, an experience that shaped her belief in mindfulness, breath work, and movement as powerful tools for regulation, resilience, and connection. This path led her to advanced training and ultimately to her current role as Executive Director of Yoga 4 Change. She is an E-RYT 500, YACEP, Reiki Master, amateur Sound Healer, and co-facilitates Yoga 4 Change’s 200-hour teacher training while overseeing the strategy, growth, and impact of the organization’s trauma-informed programs across Florida.
Outside of work, Kim enjoys traveling, live music, exploring local food culture, volunteering, reading in her hammock, and trying things that terrify her, like skydiving.
