Susie’s journey to yoga began in 2015 after years of struggling with chronic back pain due to a car accident and back surgery. She was initially resistant to yoga; however, at the insistence of a physical therapist she finally gave in and tried it. After six months of a regular yoga practice her life began to completely change, and Susie is now living 100% pain free. Not only is she passionate about yoga because of the ways it has changed her physical body, but it has also become her source for maintaining mental health and positive spiritual growth.
Susie is a RYT 200 with a background in Baptiste Power Yoga and a professional back ground in clinical social work. Her desire to teach yoga came from a place of wanting to merge the gap between yoga and mental health.
