Chelsea's yoga journey began in 2014 while playing soccer in college. Chelsea's coach had the team frequent yoga classes to help avoid injury and incorporate flexibility to the team's strength routine. Little did she know how much yoga was impacting her mental health as well! While volunteering for Yoga 4 Change in 2015, her yoga practice began to flourish. Her knowledge for the practice started to expand and she was able to see firsthand the impact trauma informed yoga has on individuals. Chelsea was a student in Y4C's first trauma informed teacher training with fellow teacher Alan, where she earned her 200 RYT in December 2017. She is continually evolving as a teacher and student of yoga and loves seeing the impact that a single yoga class can have on her students.
